Peter Trapa is the inaugural Vice Provost and Senior Dean of the Colleges and Schools of Liberal Arts and Sciences. He completed his PhD in mathematics at MIT and did postdoctoral work at Harvard University and the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton before joining the Department of Mathematics at the University of Utah. Before assuming his current role, he served as Chair of Mathematics from 2011- 2017, Chair of Physics from 2018-2019, and Dean of the College of Science from 2019-2025, during which time he merged the College of Mines and Earth Sciences into the College of Science.

Michelle M. Camacho is Dean of the College of Social and Behavioral Science (CSBS) at the University of Utah. As Dean, she has led major institutional initiatives, including the launch of the School of Environment, Society, and Sustainability (ESS), the expansion of mental health outreach programs, the creation of a new School of Public Affairs, and record fundraising efforts supporting scholarships, workforce development, and faculty research.  Prior to joining the University of Utah, she served at the National Science Foundation, where she directed national STEM education programs and strengthened partnerships among universities, government, and industry. A former Fulbright Scholar and Foreign Language and Area Studies Fellow at Cornell University, Dr. Camacho has received continuous funding from the National Science Foundation for over two decades, including awards from the ADVANCE program for faculty development, the Revolutionizing Engineering and Computer Science Departments (RED) program, and a recent $2 million S-STEM award supporting the CSBS Social Science Data Initiative. A Fellow of the American Council on Education, she earned her Ph.D. in Social Science from the University of California, Irvine.
